About Christopher Harry
Christopher has recently graduated from Leeds Arts University. He is paying rent (kind of), making low budget films independently and animating as much as possible, striving for a sense of purpose in a bleak world on the brink of complete ecological apocalypse. He’s also an active member of Extinction Rebellion and can eat ten bowls of pasta in ten days.
Christopher is a young and thrilling character animator, cartoonist and scriptwriter who grew up in rural Dorset. He tired of the fresh air, meadows and cow-tipping with his yokel mates, turning instead to moving images as an outlet for his strange and terrifying hormonal urges that came with being sixteen. He developed his earliest work in high school with paper cut-outs and an overhead camera, winning himself a spot in the Royal Academy’s A-Level Summer Exhibition in 2015 with a belter of a film named ‘Buckingham Palace’. Christopher fell in love with Leeds and the gorgeous Yorkshire Dales when he moved to study animation at Leeds Arts University. He is now firing his graduate film off to a million different festivals to see which ones go for it. He is particularly fond of traditional and digital 2D methods and his work is character driven, emphasising heartfelt storytelling.
